“We are staying here right now and the rooms are set up a little weird. The sink is outside of the bathroom area And the pool is not heated like they say it is but everything else is great. Clean rooms and nice staff.”

“Very clean, great service, wonderful people, the hot tub and heated pool are not to be missed! From there you have a view of Lake Huron. 2 very minor complaints bathrooms are very small, and I wished you could see the Lake from your room, but we will definitely be back!!”

“Stayed in shoulder season. The pool was actually still open. The front desk is unmanned and you just call: I was fine paying with credit card (even with the fee) but I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do if you wanted to pay cash: maybe a manager would drive over? Great location right in Port Austin in walking distance to everything and the lake. Parking is meh but it's not like they can do a lot about that. The room was definitely updated in the last 5 or so years (vinyl plank flooring, newer bedding) but just felt tired from the summer season maybe. There were multiple dents and huge scuffs in the drywall, nicks in the door trim, etc. No table or chairs, though there was a huge spot that could have fit one. Standard mini fridge and microwave. A standard amount of wall plugs. The walls are *paper thin*. I could hear people outside and in other rooms talking in normal volume, and as soon as some kid woke up at 6:30 AM I could hear that too. My huge complaint is with the door lock, and this is something that can absolutely be fixed in the offseason! I stayed in room 203 and the deadbolt wasn't aligned with the striker plate, so that didn't work. No chain latch. The handle had a small lock that was hard to tell if it was actually locked, and it was really flimsy with like...1/2" screws connecting the striker plate to the doorframe. I couldn't really tell if my door was even locked, so I just took one of the outside chairs and jammed it against the door for the night. As a woman traveling solo, not what I like to see in a motel room door.”

“Clean room, wifi signal extremely weak, decent mattress and great location! Front desk isn't manned and 3% upcharge for using your credit card. It served its purpose and we would stay here again.”

“Perfect little mom & pop motel & cabins. Until October 4th the heated pool and hot tub are very clean and wonderful and warm!! The rooms are clean and nice only complaint is bathroom is tiny!”

“We stay here every time we make our way at to Port Austin and love it. Clean rooms and plenty to do! Perfect for families and kids of all ages. We love that they have a fire pit and pool. The hotel is located walking distance to the water and right next door to restaurants and more.”
